A shout out to Veteran’s Memorial Healthcare Foundation for the continued Christmas Tree Fantasy. November 15-18, 2024, marked 33 years of gathering the community to raise money for the most pressing health care needs while sparking the holiday spirit through local businesses. The Allamakee County Fairground Pavilion was packed with whimsy this year once again. Upon walking through the doors, a GIANT gnome set the tone for the creative theme in which hundreds of gnomes donned Christmas trees and crafts.
This was the first year Creative Party Productions participated in the event as business owners and Louise Wild took the liberty to let her creative juices flow. Her brainstorm brought to life a traditional Christmas scene with a twist of creative play. Her treasured vintage sleigh was the perfect start for bringing “one horse open sleigh” to life when she designed a pair of gnomes out of tomato cages and artificial Christmas tree branches, complete with hand sewn mittens, caps and noses which made the perfect “Rudolph and friend”. The backdrop for Santa and the visit of all the wishful boys and girls was made complete with white lights and the rental backdrop topped with a handmade Christmas Poinsettia garland.

While many of the items in the display are exclusive to events such as this you will find the gold sanctions and red velvet ropes for rent as well as the lanterns and white backdrop. We loved bringing a smile to the faces of the those we treasure in our community and hope to serve you all for years to come!
